My name is Mari Dartford. I was never treated well as a kid making me want to leave Riverview as soon as possible. After years of looking I discovered Sunset Valley and was able to leave the town i hated the most.
My new home looked welcoming from the outside but as they say never judge a book by its cover....
When I walked in I found a peaceful looking home with some nice things which I will use in the near future.
I could change the colours though i'm not really into green.
"Hmmmm at least there is a Television..." I said speaking to no-one in particular.
I walked into the spare bedroom, the bigger one to find a nice neat little computer. The floor looks strange. The original owners must of liked green and couldn't decide which quirky colour to use. I guess i will have to live with it for a while.
Being the frugal type of person I am i decided to hop on the computer and find some coupons. I mean why spend heaps of money when you can get something cheap?
I heard a child laugh which shocked me because I didn't have children or in any case call a child over hear. "Maybe its a prankster?" I whispered to myself and leaned over to look out the window to see a child walking away from my house. I was totally confused.
The she walked a little further and i saw the bag of papers. "Oh a paper girl!" i said to myself now understanding the laughter. At Riverview my parents never wanted the paper so we never got the paper. If anyone tried to deliver the paper they would go yell and scream at them. They were a bit hot headed and i took after them with that.
Since I couldn't find any coupons i decided to try the paper instead. I was excited on seeing the newspaper and the difference between Riverview's and Sunset Valley's.
When i got the paper i decided to sit on the couch and clip the coupons. There was one good coupon for a Nail Pedicure.
I was a bit upset that it was only a pedicure and nothing else but hey thats life believe it or not.
Then i heard the door bell ring and lots of laughter. " I didn't ask anyone round?"
"Think she will open up?" Asked a ladies voice.
"She better or I'm dead!" Replied the other ladies voice.
After the second ring i got up and decided to open up the damn door hoping it wasn't pranker's
I opened up the door ready to invite my uninvited guests in.
" And she opens the door pay up Simis!" The lady with the blonde hair exclaims!
" Come on do I have to?!" Replied the Man gloomy
" Duh yeah i would of had to pay you!" She snapped
" Fine." The man who i believe is named Simis pays the blonde 20 simoeleons
After watching the mini fight from the doorway i walked outside.
I walked up to the lady with the black hair first.
" Hi, We are your new neighbour's and part of Sunset Valley's tradition is to introduce yourself to them, I'm Avy Lite by the way and this is, Zeldae Mae and Simis Bachelor. Welcome!" The lady known as Avy Lite explained.
"Thanks for the warm welcome its nice to meet you all, I'm um Mari Dartford, Status single, graduated from Smuggsworth Prep school, and you may come inside!" I said a bit strangely. I wanted to hit myself after saying all that, damn it i felt dumb and stupid!
I walked inside to see Zeldae start chatting to me she seems nice i think i want to be her friend.
" So what made you want to come to good ol' Sunset Valley?" Zeldae questioned curiously.
" Uh you see i came from Riverview and absolutely hated it their so i moved away." I replied confidently.
" Sweet trust me you are going to love it here!" Zeldae Replied. She smiled at me like we were Besties.
I noticed she kept looking at the T.v. I wanted to see what they were looking at so i peeped a look...
Romance, weddings and all that jazz i soon found out. I laughed when i saw the kid dance. He was shaking everything he had. And i mean.... everything.
I grabbed Zeldae's arm and took her to the spare room. I grabbed a pillow and hit her. She looked shocked.
She ran and grabbed another pillow and said " Its on sister!"
She hit me right in the face an for one second i wished she was a guy so i could hit her in the family jewels!
We were having a blast at one point we both wanted to hit each other but were way to scared!
She shot up the courage first and started hitting me, i then hit her hard in the leg making her hop and than i hit the other and she was down!
After she got up i said
"And thats how you win a Pillow fight!" we both laughed at the thought.
I decided to go out and said goodbye to my visitors. They thanked me for having them and i said it was a pleasure!
I decided to stop staring at it and learn some charisma i payed the taxi and walked in.
Some guy followed me inside the city hall which i thought was a bit strange because he didn't go in before i went inside.
A couple of hours pasted and finally i thought friendship would become easier than before to me. Well so I hoped.
When i came out so did the man that followed me in he was most likely in the class with me.
We spoke together and I couldn't help but notice our hair colour is almost the same! I felt like i had known him for years on end!
He couldn't stop staring at me so most likely he thought i was doing something wrong with the friendship thing. And i totally forgot to introduce myself! I decided now would be a good time.
" Oh i totally forgot my name is Mari, Mari Dartford, whats yours?" I asked and i started shaking cause i forgot the most important thing in friendship, knowing each others name.
" Im Connor Frio, and have we met before?" Connor asked with a suspicious tone in his voice.
" Nice meeting you Connor and no we havent met before unless you have been to Riverview! Well you haven't met me i would have known!" I replied nervously.
We chatted...
And chatted until....
I left
To go to the Day Spa! I decided to use that pedicure coupon and get some pampering!
I mean what lady doesn't have nice nails! Im just going to make mine nicer!
I saw Avy Lite here again! I think she is somewhat stalking me. Well I think so! There is surely something strange going on here!
When my nails were picture perfect I ran off to the new park in town to get some food!
Cause surely it's neighbourhood grillathon today so there will be food.
I get there to see no food on the tables at all not even a dirty plate!
Not one person was cooking either which really annoyed me. I CAME HERE TO GET FOOD NOT MAKE FOOD!
But I had no choice other than to make my own hot dogs! The whole time i was saying just dont burn them to myself in my head.
Then a big fire burst from the grill burning them all but one!
"I'm having that one!" I said a bit too loudly
Then more smoke and they were all burnt. Each and every single little one of them!
"Oh My SIMS!" I said with Frustration !
Just then i realized the rolls were to close to the grill so i burnt them to! I know for sure im not a cook!
Because there is a beautifully cooked Tri-Tip Steak just been cooked!
"WHY ME!" I shouted "WHY?"
I went home after i got totally peeved off. to 'relax' a little
But what am I on about i can never ever relax as much as I try.
I walked in my bedroom to find
I change into my Pajamas and throw the covers of my bed down to have a great rest for the first time without the noise of my parents making love next to me.
This is the life
"I see you Mari Dartford. Soon once again you will fall for it. Im sure of it!" a man's voice cackled.
"Uhh sir umm shes not really sleeping yet!" A nervous person replied
"Shut up or she will wake up!" He replied!
I was having a great rest until i heard voices outside of my home.At first i thought they were ghosts.
I got out of bed and straight away looked at the door then the window to see a shadow disappear.
I hopped in the bath.
" That body of hers will she fall again?" The mans voice questioned.
" Um Sir I don't know if she wi-" The lady said then got cut off
" Oh Shut the Sims up!" He scowled at the lady.
I was in the bath when i heard baffled voices again.
I waited a couple more seconds then I pulled the plug to get out.
I got dressed and heard another voice and then it all came back to me......
In a bed like my own a man said he loves me, he said he cares, he wanted children. So did I. We gave each other that. He left my house than I became pregnant.
I than remembered that his name was Connor, Connor Frio the guy I thought I had met at the city hall. One night I heard him saying to this lady. They will be evil people like me. When I have enough I will let her go and I wont forget to do the most important thing of all.... Wipe her memory.
Then one night I went to the hospital and gave birth to a beautiful baby girl which i named Kellia Dartford. she was precious. I promised her I would protect her. He took Kellia from me and then wiped my memory making me forget those nine months.
I smiled at the thought I had been denying for some time now I had a baby .
Then as I was still thinking of baby Kellia, I thought of how horrid and evil Connor was to steal her from me and I wondered how he wiped my memory.
I heard the voices again and her tires screeching away. I then realized the voice i had been hearing was Connors and how if i followed him i would be led to my baby Kellia!
And at that moment I knew i was going to keep my promise I made to Kellia and go after her to protect her.
I had determination in my eyes as I walked towards the door. Towards my Kellia.
I saw tire marks and decided i will call a cab and follow them marks.
The marks led to here. As I hopped out of the taxi I noticed something...
A child standing outside the house. The hair like mine. I straight away thought it was Kellia.
When I laid eyes on her face I noticed the freckles and beauty mark. The same as mine. Thats my daughter.
Then I noticed the eyes.
" Whats your name dear?" I asked her
" Connor said not to talk to strangers." She replied.
Connor i thought to myself.
" Tell me your name!" I said a bit to harshly.
" NO!" She replied.
" Is it Kellia?!" I asked hopefully.
" How how how did you know." she said.
" Just thought." I said to her.
" Could I come in?" I asked her.
" No way hoezay!" She replied
As she went to walk off I grabbed her shoulder and said. "Who doesn't let their mother into their home." I touched her hair while i said that.
She looked confused. " Um I suppose Avy wouldn't mind..." she said shyly.
She walked towards the house telling me to follow her in.
I followed her looking at her perfect hair.
She walked through the door turned around and said, "Are you coming or what?"
I replied " Yeah your just so beautiful."
I took a deep breath before I walked in hoping Connor wasn't inside.
She noticed I didn't come in so she came outside and said " Avy said that you can come in if you don't break anything or be dumb."
"Fair enough." I replied.
Inside was Avy cooking. I was curious of why she came to my house and has my daughter.
" Oh Hello" Avy Said Calmly.
"Hi..." I replied
I looked over to see my daughter drinking juice.
" So did you say you were my mum or what?" She questioned me.
" Um yeah I did didn't you notice the things we have alike?" I answered.
" I kinda did ." she said while sipping her drink.
After Kellia went to school Avy Questioned me.
"WHY DID YOU COME!" She shouted at me
" Why didn't you tell me you have my daughter!" I screamed!
I began eating and thinking of Kellia. She is much older than i remember her.
" How did you remember Kellia? Connor Swiped you!?" Avy asked.
" I dont know." I replied after gulping down my food.
"Tell me the whole story, now" I Said eagerly.
"Do I have to?" Avy replied
"Yes now begin."
